Simones Books is a privately owned book reseller business established in London since 2002. As a worldwide supplier of new and second-hand quality hardback and paperback titles to private customers and book collectors, the company was very keen on expanding their business to the Internet.

Parador Consulting carried out a thorough feasibility study of the costs involved in setting up an online shop which, unfortunately, turned out to be beyond the financial means of the company.

We then focused our Internet strategy in finding suitable business partners, with well-established and highly reputable e-commerce sites, from which the company could carry out their online trading. This strategy has proved a real success and Simone's Books have seen an increased of 300% in their sales volume since last year, whilst maintaining their profitability margins.

The company has also built an extensive database of contacts for direct marketing purposes and are now re-considering their original plan to set-up their own e-commerce site.
